Paolo Moschino
Born and raised in Italy, Paolo Moschino studied political science in Florence. It was after university that he came to London, intending to stay for six months but a chance encounter with Joseph Ettedgui led to a job in fashion retailing and he stayed on.
Later Paolo met Nicky Haslam and began working with Nicky at his shop in Holbein Place in Pimlico. Over a decade ago they decided to split the business in two with Nicky concentrating on the design (as NH Design) and Paolo having the Nicholas Haslam Shop, marketing furniture, lighting, fabrics and accessories.
Inevitably, many of the customers visiting Paolo’s shop began to covet the look -and so began a career in interior design alongside shop-keeping.
In 2003 Paolo was presented with the D&D award for Best Traditional Residential project. In November 2005 Paolo expanded the company by opening a new showroom in Ebury Street, Pimlico.
